The song "Kiss the Girl", which Ashley recorded for Disney Channel, was debated over for whether Ashley or her good friend Miley Cyrus should record it. Ashley got this song, whilst Miley sad "Part of Your World"!
Ashley tried out for the role of Karen in the movie "Mean Girls", but lost out on the part to Amanda Seyfried.
